Phở King (PK) is VSAUW’s biennial intercollegiate cultural show for male identifying individuals. The show is made to promote cultural awareness to the current generation of Vietnamese-Americans and Asians as well as celebrate and empower Asian men through the awareness of societal stereotypes and the uniqueness of ones identity. With the theme being “I Am…”, this year’s Phở King aims to take back power and authority over our own identities by making “I am…” statements. Dismantling the image of ourselves that we have learned from others perspectives, and now rebuilding an image through our own lens. PK 2024 is focused on showcasing and highlighting your authentic self. Portraying an image that you are proud of and unapologetically ‘you’.
