Hoa Khôi Liên Trường (HK) is VSAUW’s biennial intercollegiate cultural show for female identifying individuals. The show is made to promote cultural awareness to the current generation of Vietnamese-Americans and Asians as well as celebrate and empower Asian women through the awareness of societal stereotypes and the uniqueness of ones identity. With the theme being “Unraveling Destiny: Shadows, Reflections, and the Threads of Tomorrow”, this year’s Hoa Khôi Liên Trường centers on embracing the journey of self-discovery through the lens of our experiences and choices. Connected by our shared experiences, we learn to reflect on the past and future to better embrace the present. In doing so, we reclaim the power to weave our own fate.
